आभा! एक प्रेमपत्र

तुम्हारी छवि की अप्रतिम आभा

बिसराए नहीं बिसरती,

ये मेरे आवेश की सीमा में कहाँ?

मैं उस अमूर्त छवि से बहते हुए

अनहद में विश्राम करूं

या कि बताओ,

अनवरत झरने से झरते,

पुष्पों की आकाश गंगा को

चैतन्यसिंधु में देखूं।

मैं कैसे अपने सुध बुध को स्वयं में स्थित करूँ?

हे माँ, मुझे तेरी उस छवि की गहरी अभीप्सा

अनायास हो चलती है;

जो आकाश में उड़ते इन पंछियों के

ध्यानस्थ संगीत में संकेतित है;

जिसे विचार के ताने बानो में बुनना

संभव नहीं दिखता,

ना ही व्यक्त कर पाना संभव है जिसे

भाषा के सामर्थ्य में

और ना ही

जिसे ये दृग देख पाते हैं;

हाँ लेकिन अंतस- चक्षुओं से

तेरा अनुभूत दर्शन

कलकल, अनवरत आलोकित है।
